About Me

My name is Mario Monk and I am an animal behaviorist and a writer here at PET-happy.

In PET-happy.com I share pet friendly training, care and behavior correction tips.

This is a place where you are going to find out, cats are not evil aliens who have arrived here to make our lives miserable. They are earth born creatures, and their natural differences from our preferences should not be top reason why cats are abandoned at shelter.

This is a place where everyone will be able to find out, times when you had to dominate over your dog is (or is about to be) over. Having a mutual respect and trust with your dog works way better.

These are few examples, but the main idea is, so our pets are happy living with us. And we are happy with our pet behavior, as this is not unimportant, as well.

You may also want to say thanks to my wife, Signe. She’s a veterinarian and without her help and knowledge, this site probably would not exist. We both share our biggest passion in the world, love for animals. Hope we share it with you too.
